Parameters

NameTypeDescription
ValueoutputFloatThe moving value.
Reached EdgeoutputTriggerFires every time the value reaches the minimum or the maximum. Only present when Limit Range is on.
SpeedFloatHow far the value moves per second. A negative speed moves it down.
Limit RangeBoolWhether the value is kept between a minimum and a maximum.
MinFloatThe lowest value. Only present when Limit Range is on.
MaxFloatThe highest value. Only present when Limit Range is on.
At EdgeEnumWhether the value starts over from the other end or turns around when it reaches an edge. Only present when Limit Range is on.Choices: Wrap, Bounce
RunningBoolWhether the value moves. While off, it holds still.
ResetTriggerPuts the value back at its start.

Move is a value that travels on its own at a steady speed. Without a limit it starts at 0 and keeps going forever, which is handy for something that should scroll or rotate without end.

With Limit Range on the value stays between the minimum and the maximum. Wrap makes it jump back to the other end when it reaches an edge, like a conveyor belt. Bounce makes it turn around and travel the other way, so it goes back and forth between the two edges. Reached Edge fires at every edge, which can trigger something else at each turn or lap.

A reset puts the value back where it started: at 0 without a limit, and at the edge it moves away from with one. That is the minimum for a positive speed and the maximum for a negative one. While Running is off the value stops where it is.

Turning the limit off hides the minimum, the maximum, the edge choice and the Reached Edge trigger, and turning it on again brings them back with the values they had.
