SaveTriggerWrites the texture to a file.

Save Image takes a snapshot of a texture and writes it to disk. Nothing happens on its own. Every press of Save, by hand or from a trigger in the graph, writes one file, and the incoming texture can change as often as it likes in between. The writing happens in the background, so the graph does not stall, and the log reports each file written and anything that went wrong.

The numbering decides what happens when Save is pressed more than once. Off writes the same file every time, replacing the one before it. Counter adds a number with four digits, as in image_0000, and picks the first number whose file does not exist yet, so files from an earlier session are never replaced. Timestamp adds the date and time down to the millisecond, as in image_2026-09-09_14-32-05-123, which keeps files apart even when saves come several times a second.

With the file name left empty the file is called image. JPG cannot store transparency, so the see-through parts of a texture are lost in that format. Connected to a Beat, Save Image records a frame at every beat.
