Parameters
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Base Color | Color | The color of the surface, or a tint for the texture. |
Unlit Material shows a surface exactly as it is, with no light, no shading and no shadows. Without a texture the whole surface is the base color. With a texture the surface shows the texture, multiplied with the base color, so a white base color shows the texture as it is and a darker or colored one tints it. The material is given to a mesh with Set Material.
It is the material for things that should not look lit: a video on a screen in the scene, a flat graphic, a background, or a plain color for debugging. For a surface that reacts to light, use PBR Material.
