Int

An Int holds one whole number, such as 3 or -12, and no decimals. Operators use it for things that are counted, such as how many inputs there are or which one is active.

Click the field and type to set it. To change the value without typing, drag left or right in the field with the middle mouse button, which moves it in steps of 1. Some operators show an Int with a minus and a plus button next to it, which step it by 1.

Any parameter can drive an Int. A number with decimals is rounded to the nearest whole number, an on/off value arrives as 0 or 1, and text is read as a number. A vector gives one of its components, and a choice box gives the position of its choice, counting from 0.
