Parameters
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Size | Vector 3 | The width, height and depth of the box. |
| Subdivisions | Vector 3 Int | How many pieces each edge is split into along each axis. 1 leaves a face as one square. |
Cube makes a box, centered on the origin. The size can differ per axis, so it makes slabs and pillars as well as cubes. Each face has its own vertices, so the edges stay sharp when the box is lit.
The subdivisions cut every face into a grid. A face along X and Y is cut by the X and Y counts, and so on. More divisions give the other mesh operators more vertices to work with, which matters for anything that moves vertices around, such as Noise followed by Move. A plain box needs only 1 along each axis.
Every vertex has a position, a normal, a tangent and texture coordinates. The coordinates run from 0 to 1 across each face, so a texture appears once on every side.
