Parameters
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Count | Int | How many copies there are, including the original. At least 1. |
| Step Transform | Transform 3D | The move, turn and scale from one copy to the next. |
Copy lays out a row of copies of a mesh. The first copy is the mesh as it came in. Every next copy has the step transform applied one more time, so a step that moves 1 along X gives a row of meshes 1 apart. A step that also turns a little gives a spiral, and one that also scales gives copies that grow or shrink along the row.
The copies come out as a single mesh, so everything after Copy treats them as one shape. The vertex count grows with the count, and every attribute of the mesh is copied along. Normals and tangents are turned with each copy so lighting stays right. The mesh keeps its material.
Build the step with a Transform 3D operator and connect it to the step transform.
