Vector 3

Three numbers with decimals, for positions, directions and sizes in 3D.

A Vector 3 holds three numbers with decimals, usually the X, Y and Z of a position, a direction or a size. Each of the three is a field of its own that works like a Float: type a value, or drag in the field with the middle mouse button.

Each component can be connected on its own, so Y can follow one signal while X and Z stay editable. A single number connected to the whole vector fills all three components. A Vector 2 fills X and Y and leaves Z alone. A Vector 4 fills all three and its fourth number is dropped. A single component can also be linked to a single component, such as the Y of one vector into the Z of another.
