Graph

Holds a graph of its own, grouping the operators inside it behind a single block.

Outputs

NameTypeDescription
[Outputs][Chosen when added]The data outputs added to the graph. Each one carries what Graph Outputs feeds it from inside.

Inputs

NameTypeDescription
[Inputs][Chosen when added]The data inputs added to the graph. Each one is available inside through Graph Inputs.

Parameters

NameTypeDescription
[Parameters][Chosen when added]The parameters added to the graph. An input parameter is available inside through Graph Inputs, and an output parameter is set from inside through Graph Outputs.

A Graph is an operator with a whole graph inside it. From the outside it connects like any other operator. Inside it holds operators and connections of its own, and it runs whenever something inside it needs to. Double click it, or choose Enter from its menu, to step inside. The project itself is a graph too: the one at the top.

A new Graph has no inputs, outputs or parameters. They are added from its menu with Add Data Input, Add Data Output, Add Input Parameter and Add Output Parameter, or from the dialogs of Graph Inputs and Graph Outputs inside it. Those two operators are the bridge: Graph Inputs brings what arrives at the graph’s inputs and parameters inside, and Graph Outputs sends results to the graph’s outputs.

Use it to fold a chain of operators into one block, or to keep a large project readable.
